Fans of Aardman's famous duo can meet the creative team behind the new LEGO Wallace and Gromit set at an upcoming signing event in Bristol.

LEGO enthusiasts and fans of Bristol-based Aardman Animations have a unique opportunity to meet the designers behind a new collaboration. The LEGO Ideas Wallace and Gromit set, which marks the first time the iconic pair has been immortalised in brick form, is set to arrive in stores on 1 October 2026.

To celebrate the release, the LEGO Store at Cribbs Causeway will host an exclusive designer signing event. Members of the creative team, including LEGO Ideas designer Sébastien Esnault and LEGO designers Ellen Bowley and Tom Gerardin, are scheduled to appear on Saturday, 3 October, between 10am and 11am. Visitors will have the chance to meet the masterminds behind the project and have their copies of the set signed.

The 1,038-piece build is inspired by the classic Aardman adventure A Close Shave . The set recreates the famous inventor and his canine companion, featuring their signature motorcycle and sidecar. Detailed touches include Wallace's iconic outfit and Gromit's vintage-style goggles, along with various hidden Easter eggs linked to the duo's cinematic history.

Priced at £89.99, the set will be available to purchase from LEGO.com and at official LEGO stores starting from 1 October. The event at Cribbs Causeway serves as a local highlight for the launch, offering fans a rare chance to engage directly with the designers behind the official product.
