The founder of a Central Wiltshire home care firm has been recognised with a national honour for excellence in business leadership and community engagement.

A Wiltshire business owner has been honoured on the national stage for his contribution to the home care sector. Jack Miller, who runs Right at Home Central Wiltshire, was named a winner at the Great British Franchisee Awards 2026.

The awards, organised by Whichfranchise, recognise business leaders who demonstrate excellence in growth, leadership, staff development and customer satisfaction. Mr Miller, who started his journey as a franchisee in 2019 at the age of 24, has seen his company grow significantly since its inception in Chippenham.

Reflecting on the achievement, Mr Miller noted the importance of the team behind the success. "I am incredibly proud to receive this recognition, but this award is about so much more than business success," he said. "It reflects the dedication of our amazing team, who go above and beyond every day to make a real difference to our clients and their families."

The business, formerly known as Right at Home Chippenham, was recently rebranded to Right at Home Central Wiltshire to reflect the expansion of its services. The provider currently employs over 100 staff members who deliver care across a wide range of locations, including Melksham, Trowbridge, Devizes, Corsham, Bradford on Avon, Calne, Malmesbury, Marlborough and Pewsey.

Beyond the operational growth of the firm, the award also acknowledges Mr Miller’s commitment to local outreach through the 1,500 Smiles campaign. This initiative aims to support local fundraising and community events, which the company states has impacted thousands of residents and carers in the region.

Lucy Campbell, CEO of Right at Home UK, commended the award as a reflection of the culture established by the local team. "I have had the pleasure of watching Jack grow and develop as a business owner and leader over the years, and what impresses me most is the culture he has created," she said. "There is a genuine sense of unity, shared ambition and pride running through his team."

This national success follows a previous accolade for the local business, which was named Overall Business of the Year at the Right at Home National Conference earlier this year.
