Drivers are facing delays on the A4 between Chippenham and Corsham this afternoon following a collision that has partially blocked the carriageway.
Commuters and motorists travelling between Chippenham and Corsham are being warned of significant congestion following a road traffic collision on the A4 Bath Road this Tuesday, November 3.
The incident was reported at approximately 12.30pm and has resulted in a partial blockage of the highway. Traffic is currently queuing westbound, with tailbacks extending from the Easton crossroads towards Cross Keys Road.
Reports indicate that the disruption is also impacting surrounding routes. Drivers attempting to navigate through the junction near Stowell Farm Shop in Corsham are experiencing longer travel times as a result of the knock-on effect from the main road blockage.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys or to seek alternative routes where possible while emergency services manage the scene. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops and the road is cleared.
