The BBC award-winning folk artist is set to bring his melodic style to the Neeld Community & Arts Centre as part of his 2027 tour.

Scottish singer-songwriter Adam Holmes has announced he will perform at the Neeld Community & Arts Centre in Chippenham on Thursday, 25 March 2027. The performance is part of an extensive tour scheduled to run from January through to June of that year.

Holmes, who is based in Edinburgh, has built a strong reputation within the UK folk scene. His work is known for drawing on Scottish folk traditions, an interest that stems from his childhood in Portobello, where he was exposed to church hymns and old fiddle tunes. His professional musical career began in earnest after he chose to pursue his craft over a construction apprenticeship following his success in the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition.

The musician has previously shared stages with notable artists such as Martin Simpson, Karine Polwart and John Prine. Beyond his live performances, his music has gained wider recognition through features in popular television series, including Outlander and various Apple TV productions.

The upcoming Chippenham date offers local fans a chance to see an artist who has been praised for the depth and impact of his songwriting. Tickets for the concert at the Neeld Community & Arts Centre are currently available through the artist’s official website.
