Film and music fans are invited to share their favourite soundtracks at a social evening held at the Old Road Tavern this September.
Music and cinema enthusiasts in Chippenham are set to gather for a unique social event as part of the ongoing Chippenham Film Festival. On 9 September, the Old Road Tavern will host a soundtrack listening night, inviting members of the public to celebrate the scores and songs that define their favourite films.
Organisers are encouraging attendees to bring along their personal collections of film and television soundtracks on vinyl or CD. The event is designed as an open and informal gathering where fans can share their favourite records and discuss the memories associated with iconic cinematic music.
The evening, which begins at 7:30pm, also offers a charitable service for those looking to maintain their vinyl collections. For a minimum donation of £5 to a local hospice, guests can have their vinyl LPs professionally cleaned using an Okki-Nokki record cleaning machine. Records treated through this service will be returned in new audiophile-grade inner and outer protective sleeves.
This event forms part of the wider programme for the Chippenham Film Festival, which seeks to bring the local community together through a shared appreciation of film, music and culture.
