Families are invited to solve a spooky mystery as the REME Museum in Chippenham hosts a special Halloween trail on October 30.

The REME Museum in Chippenham is inviting families to participate in a spooky challenge this Halloween. On Wednesday, 30 October, the museum will host a themed trail throughout its galleries designed to keep visitors entertained while exploring the collection.

During the event, participants will be tasked with hunting for various Halloween-themed characters hidden among the exhibits, including ghosts, spiders, bats, and monsters. The trail adds a layer of mystery to the visit, as guests must solve a series of clues to uncover who is responsible for eating all the sweets hidden in the museum.

Organisers have described the day as a 'spooktacular' experience suitable for visitors of all ages. The activity is included within the standard entry ticket price for the museum.

Those wishing to take part are encouraged to book their museum tickets in advance. Upon arrival, visitors should notify reception staff of their interest in the trail, at which point staff will provide the necessary instructions and trail sheets to begin the hunt.
