Local charities, schools, and sports clubs are being encouraged to submit applications for the Salisbury Reds Community Fund ahead of an upcoming deadline.

Organisations across Salisbury have a final opportunity to secure assistance from the Salisbury Reds Community Fund, with the deadline for the latest round of support fast approaching. The bus operator is currently accepting applications from local groups, schools, sports teams, and event organisers seeking help to further their work within the community.

The fund provides support twice a year, offering successful applicants a range of options including financial assistance, complimentary travel, or marketing support to boost their projects. The initiative forms part of the company's efforts to foster closer ties with the local population it serves.

Nikki Honer, head of communications at Salisbury Reds, said: "Of course, we provide a comprehensive network of bus services here, but we also want to provide a boost to groups and organisations who work hard to improve the wellbeing of those living in the region."

To be considered for the September allocation of support, interested groups must submit their applications before the end of this month. The application process requires organisations to provide details regarding their activities, the specific nature of the support required, and the expected impact that this assistance would have on their community initiatives.

Full details on how to apply and the criteria for eligibility are available via the official Salisbury Reds website at salisburyreds.co.uk.
