Salisbury youth football teams invited to feature in special photographic pull-out
By Swindon Now Editorial Team · Published

Grassroots football clubs across Salisbury are being encouraged to submit team photographs for a special supplement celebrating local youth talent.
Budding footballers and their clubs across Salisbury and the surrounding area are being given the chance to see their teams in print. A new youth football supplement is set to be published on Thursday, November 19, aiming to put the spotlight on the next generation of local talent.
The pull-out will not only celebrate the players but also recognise the wider support network that keeps grassroots football running. The organisers are calling for coaches, managers, volunteers and families who contribute their time to grassroots clubs to be part of the feature.
Submissions are open for girls', boys' and mixed teams from all age groups up to and including under-18s. Whether it is a traditional team portrait, an action shot, or a line-up from a matchday, local organisers are keen to see a wide variety of images representing the community.
The supplement is designed to serve as a keepsake for families to mark the efforts of local young athletes. Those wishing to get involved are asked to submit their photographs by emailing them to megan.stanley@newsquest.co.uk. When submitting, participants are reminded to include full names and descriptions of the subjects in the picture, such as identifying players from left to right, to ensure the images are properly captioned.
