Stratton St Margaret Parish Council is calling on residents to nominate local heroes who have made a significant impact on the community.

Stratton St Margaret Parish Council has officially opened the nomination process for its 2027 Stratton Star Awards, inviting residents to put forward individuals and groups who have made a positive contribution to the area.

The annual awards are designed to celebrate the people and organisations that consistently go above and beyond to support the local community. The council is seeking entries across four distinct categories:

Stratton Hero

Community Group of the Year

Volunteer of the Year

Young Person of the Year

The awards initiative aims to foster community spirit and highlight the efforts of those who make a notable difference in the neighbourhood. By shining a light on these achievements, the council hopes to encourage wider participation in community service across the parish.

Residents who wish to nominate a deserving candidate are encouraged to do so via email at info@strattonstmargaret.gov.uk. The deadline for all award submissions is February 28, 2027.
