Local police are hosting a series of drop-in events across Swindon, offering residents the chance to raise concerns and discuss crime prevention directly with their neighbourhood teams.

Swindon residents are being offered the opportunity to speak directly with their local policing teams through a series of upcoming community engagement events. The sessions, which have been organised to take place across several neighbourhoods, are designed to give the public a platform to discuss crime prevention, community safety, and specific issues affecting their local areas.

The initiative provides a space for residents to provide feedback on policing and voice any concerns about anti-social behaviour or other local matters. These events are informal, and police have confirmed that no prior appointments are necessary. Residents are invited to drop in at any point during the scheduled times to speak with an officer.

The programme of events is as follows:

Rodbourne: Friday, November 13, 9am to 11am, at the Even Swindon Community Centre.

Penhill: Monday, November 16, 5pm to 7pm, at the John Moulton Hall.

Moredon: Tuesday, November 17, 5pm to 7pm, at the Moredon Sporting Hub.

Pinehurst: Wednesday, November 18, 5pm to 7pm, at the Pinetress Community Centre.

Gorse Hill: Thursday, November 19, 5pm to 7pm, at the Gorse Hill Community Centre.

The events were announced via the official social media channels for the Stratton, Central Swindon North, and West Swindon policing teams. Further sessions are expected to be held in these locations throughout December and January, ensuring that residents have consistent opportunities to engage with their local officers in the coming months.
