Swindon Borough Council is considering an application from Travelodge to sell alcohol at all hours at its Delta Business Park site.

Travelodge has submitted an application to Swindon Borough Council for a new premises licence that would permit the sale of alcohol 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at its hotel located in the Delta Business Park on Great Western Way.

The proposal seeks permission for both on-site and off-site alcohol sales. However, the application includes a specific restriction ensuring that between 11pm and 10am, alcohol sales would be limited exclusively to registered hotel guests. In addition to the alcohol licence, the hotel has requested authorisation to provide late-night refreshments between the hours of 11pm and 5am, which would facilitate 24/7 operations.

Residents or businesses wishing to share their views on the application have until 17 November 2026 to contact the local authority. Representations must be submitted in writing to the Licensing Authority at Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West, Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH, or by email to licensing@swindon.gov.uk. The council requires that all objections clearly explain the grounds for the concern.

Members of the public can view the full details of the application at the Civic Offices on Euclid Street. Documents are available for inspection between 9am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
