Swindon commuters offered chance to win free travel in bus satisfaction survey

Swindon’s Bus Company is inviting passengers to share their feedback on local routes, with one participant set to win a month of free travel.
Passengers using bus services across Swindon are being encouraged to have their say on the future of local transport as the town’s primary operator launches its latest customer satisfaction survey.
Swindon’s Bus Company conducts the consultation twice a year to gauge public opinion on various aspects of their network. The operator says that the feedback provided by local commuters is vital for shaping future service improvements and determining where resources might be best directed.
Nikki Honer, head of communications at Swindon’s Bus Company, said that the initiative is part of a broader mission to make bus travel more appealing to the public. She noted that increasing the uptake of sustainable transport remains a key goal, as it helps to reduce traffic congestion and contributes to better air quality throughout the town.
Recent operational updates, such as the opening of the transport hub at Fleming Way, form part of the operator's ongoing effort to modernise facilities. According to the company, these physical improvements are being balanced with continuous work alongside local authorities to refine journey times and network efficiency.
Ms Honer added: "It’s important that we regularly receive feedback on all aspects of our services – those that people love, and the things that people feel we could improve. This is our customers’ opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of bus services across Swindon and the surrounding area."
The survey is open to all regular and occasional passengers. As an added incentive, every participant who completes the questionnaire will be entered into a prize draw to win one month of free bus travel.
The survey is available to complete online via the Swindon’s Bus Company website. Residents must submit their responses before the deadline of Monday, 28 September. Terms and conditions regarding the free travel prize draw can be found on the operator's website.
