Motorists faced delays in Swindon this afternoon due to a collision on a key road near The Meads Roundabout.

A busy road in Swindon was blocked earlier today following a road traffic collision, causing disruption for motorists in the area. The incident occurred on Paddington Drive, resulting in the road being blocked in both directions.

The disruption stretched between the B4006 Mead Way, known as The Meads Roundabout, and Penzance Drive. Traffic was reported to be at a standstill while emergency services and local agencies managed the scene.

Drivers were advised to expect delays and plan alternative routes while the obstruction remained in place. The incident took place during the afternoon of Thursday, October 30, and the road has since been cleared of the reported blockage.
