Swindon is set to host a major mixed martial arts showcase at The MECA, featuring 20 professional and amateur bouts and several championship titles on the line.

Mixed martial arts fans in Swindon are set for a high-intensity evening as the Raged UK MMA promotion returns to the town on Saturday, 24 October. The event, hosted at The MECA, will showcase 20 bouts featuring a mix of professional and amateur talent from across the UK and international circuits.

Doors for the event are scheduled to open at 4pm, with organisers promising a packed schedule of competition throughout the night. The showcase is headlined by a middleweight championship clash featuring local fighter Craig 'Concrete' Rawlins, who faces a significant test against Portuguese challenger Milton Cabral. For Rawlins, the bout marks a return to the promotion where he began his amateur career and captured his first professional title, with the fighter stating his intention to make his final Swindon appearance a memorable one.

The event card features several other high-stakes championship encounters:

Lightweight Championship: Undefeated prospect Felipe Albuquerque, representing Cheltenham Jiu-Jitsu, defends his title against the Australian-Maltese challenger Brayden Buttigieg.

Welterweight Championship: Reigning champion Leon Hill, who holds a perfect 5-0 record, faces a tough challenge from the Welsh power-hitter Sean Robinson.

Featherweight Championship: A contest between two Welsh competitors, Louie Murphy of Hangar MMA and Rio Papparigas of the Chris Rees Academy, completes the primary title line-up.

For those unable to attend in person, the event is set to be streamed live on a pay-per-view basis via Fightworld.tv. Ticket options for the venue include standard entry at £35, seated tickets at £45, and VIP tables for groups of 10 at £600, which include dedicated table service and a curry buffet. Tickets remain available directly from the competing fighters or via the official Raged UK MMA website.
