Swindon Town Football Club has confirmed the departure of two senior staff members, including the Chief Financial Officer who resigned after only four months in the role.

Swindon Town Football Club has seen further changes to its management structure with the departure of two senior members of staff. Chief Financial Officer Paul Barclay has resigned from his position after serving just four months, having joined the club in June.

The club confirmed the departures through recent Advisory Board meeting minutes. Mr Barclay, a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive experience in the finance sector, was brought in to support the club's development plans off the pitch. Despite his exit, the club's existing financial team remains intact, with Financial Controller Annabela Da Costa retaining her responsibilities.

Also leaving the organisation is Operations Manager Sotiris Caldelis, who is returning to Australia. His departure marks another change in the club's operational wing, though the club has confirmed that his workload has already been partially absorbed by Alisha Henry. Ms Henry, who joined the club in June 2025, serves as club secretary and now holds the title of Head of Operations.

These exits contribute to a wider pattern of turnover at the club since September 2024. The list of departures includes former Academy Directors Alex Pike and Mark Moss, former Head of Football Jamie Russell, and former Club Secretary Jamie White. Other recent staff departures include former Football Operations Manager Baillie Coupland, former Hospitality Manager Rachel Burt, and former Youth Development Phase Lead Ryan Elliott.

Additionally, former Head of Media Callum Knowles departed earlier this summer following a redundancy, while Kirk McGinn and coaching staff members Sean Wood and Travis Wood have also left the club. It is not currently known whether the club intends to make direct replacements for the roles vacated by Mr Barclay and Mr Caldelis, as the club continues to navigate these ongoing adjustments to its off-pitch management structure.
