Emergency services attended a collision involving three vehicles on the A350 at Stoney Gutter on Sunday afternoon.

A passenger has been taken to hospital following a three-car collision on a major Wiltshire A-road this weekend. The incident occurred on the A350 at Stoney Gutter, near Trowbridge, at approximately 1.30pm on Sunday, October 4.

Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of the multi-vehicle crash. Wiltshire Police confirmed that the passenger of one of the vehicles involved was transported to hospital for treatment. Their injuries have been described by the force as non-life-threatening.

Traffic in the area was heavily affected, with long queues forming along the busy stretch of the A350, particularly near the junction with Ashton Road. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, police confirmed.

The A350 serves as a critical transport route through the county, and even minor incidents at this location often lead to significant traffic delays for motorists travelling between Trowbridge and neighbouring areas. Drivers are advised to check local travel updates before planning journeys through this junction during peak periods.
