A classical music trio is launching a new series of monthly café concerts in Warminster, offering a relaxed environment for the community to enjoy live performances.

Residents in Warminster are being invited to a new series of monthly classical music performances designed to make high-quality live music accessible to everyone. Somerset-based ensemble Trio Paradis has announced a residency at the Warminster Civic Centre, where they will perform on the first Friday of each month.

The concerts are built around a pay-what-you-feel model, ensuring that cost is not a barrier for those who wish to attend. The sessions are intended to provide a friendly and informal atmosphere, aimed at bringing classical music to new and diverse audiences within the local area.

Visitors are welcomed to the Civic Centre from 2.30pm, where a pop-up café will be serving homemade cakes ahead of the main event. The concerts themselves commence at 3pm and last for approximately 45 minutes.

The programme for the upcoming season features carefully curated themes. On Friday, 2 October, the trio will perform From Dawn to Dusk , a selection of music inspired by different times of the day. This performance will include works such as Circulo by Spanish composer Joaquín Turina, Matin and Soir by French composer Mel Bonis, and the rarely performed Soleils Couchants by Adela Maddison.

Following this, the 6 November concert will be themed What’s in a Name? , while the 4 December performance will focus on Winter Landscapes , featuring seasonal pieces including sleigh rides by Delius and Tchaikovsky.

The trio, consisting of Jacquelyn Bevan on piano, Ruth O’Shea on violin, and Linda Stocks on cello, encourages all members of the community to attend. While no formal booking is required to enter, organisers have indicated that RSVPs via the Trio Paradis website are appreciated to help with planning.
