The Hendy Foundation has opened its latest grant window, offering up to £20,000 to support charitable projects across Wiltshire.

Charities across Wiltshire are being encouraged to apply for a new round of funding as the Hendy Foundation opens its second grant window for 2026. The independent charity, affiliated with the Hendy Group, has announced a total fund of up to £20,000 is available to support community-led projects.

This latest initiative follows a successful first round of funding earlier this year, which saw £16,000 distributed among eight different charities within the group's operating area. The foundation, which was established in 2018, aims to provide financial support to local charitable organisations and individual projects that make a tangible difference in their local areas.

Rebecca Hendy, chairperson of the Hendy Foundation, emphasised the organisation's commitment to the region. She stated that the latest round of funding provides an important opportunity for local groups to secure the resources they need to continue their work. She encouraged charities of all sizes to consider applying for the support available.

Previous beneficiaries of the foundation include organisations such as Waste Not Want Not, which provides essential furniture and household items to low-income families. The foundation trustees are looking for projects that align with their mission of supporting the local community and providing help where it is most needed.

Applications for this round of funding must be submitted by Friday, 30 October 2026. Interested groups can apply directly through the Hendy Foundation website. Once the deadline passes, a panel of volunteer trustees will review the applications and assess their eligibility. Successful applicants are expected to be notified and receive their funding before the end of the year.
