Drivers travelling on the A342 in Wiltshire faced significant disruption on Tuesday morning following a serious road traffic collision. The incident occurred between Everleigh and Tidworth, resulting in a vehicle coming to rest on its roof.

Emergency services, including Wiltshire Police and the South Western Ambulance Service, were called to the scene at approximately 6.45am on October 27. The road was initially blocked in both directions while responders attended to the scene, where debris was reported scattered across the carriageway.

By 9.30am, authorities had managed to reopen one lane to traffic, allowing vehicles to pass under restricted conditions. While eyewitness accounts have suggested that no life-threatening injuries were sustained during the crash, official confirmation from the emergency services remains pending.

Motorists are advised to continue exercising caution when travelling through the area as the scene is cleared and traffic begins to return to normal flow. Those intending to use this route are encouraged to check for any residual delays before setting off.
