Acclaimed songwriter Martha Tilston is set to bring her live show to Malmesbury, joined by Bristol's popular vocal collective The Murmuration Choir.
A unique musical collaboration is coming to Malmesbury this autumn as singer-songwriter Martha Tilston prepares to take to the stage at Malmesbury Abbey. The event, scheduled for Friday, October 9, will see the award-winning artist perform alongside the Bristol-based ensemble, The Murmuration Choir.
Known for their expansive and atmospheric vocal arrangements, The Murmuration Choir has earned a reputation as a vibrant collective of voices. Their previous performances alongside Tilston at major events, including the Shambala and Purbeck Valley Folk festivals, have garnered critical praise for the powerful combination of the choir’s harmonies and Tilston's songwriting.
The historic setting of the Abbey is expected to provide a distinctive acoustic backdrop for the performance, with organisers describing the anticipated experience as a special night for the local community. Representatives from the Abbey have expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming event.
Tickets for the performance are currently priced at £22 and are available for purchase. Prospective attendees are encouraged to book in advance given the popularity of both the artist and the venue.
